The Venice Film Festival is growing. The report of the first week of Venice 81 confirms this trend, improving last year’s excellent figures. From Wednesday, August 28th to Monday, September 2nd, both the number of tickets sold and the number of season tickets are on the rise.
Admission tickets sold to the audience until September 2nd are 59,729 (+11% in 2023), of which 1,747 are season tickets (+25% in 2023). La Biennale wants to thank this enthusiastic audience, who are crowding all the theatres on the Lido these days.
The number of accreditations also increased, as 12,953 were distributed on the Lido this year (+2% from 2023).
Finally, bookings for the Venice Immersive section on the island of Lazzaretto Vecchio are 5,515 (+23% in 2023).
